  REV. W. F. BERKEBILE
  
    Rev. W. F. Berkebile, 64, Rockwood, died at his home on Saturday morning,
  Jan. 7.
    Born Dec. 8, 1902 in Richland twp., he was a son of Ira and Annie
  (Minimier) Berkebile.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Daisy Reese; a son, Dr. Paul E.,
  Meyersdale; and a daughter, Mrs. Daisy Belle Boitnott, wife of Rev. James
  Boitnott, Rockford, Ill., who was a former pastor of Somerset Church of the
  Brethren.
    Also surviving are his mother, of Boswell RD 1; seven grandchildren; a
  brother, Ralph, of Boswell RD; and a sister, Mrs. Louis Gerber of Geistown.
    Preceding him in death were his father and a son, Walter F. Jr.
    Funeral service was held on Tuesday afternoon in St. Luke's Lutheran
  Church, Rockwood, with Rev. John D. Ellis, D.D., and Rev. Hillis G. Berkey
  officiating.  Interment was made in Mt. Nebo cemetery, under the direction
  of William J. Wood Funeral Home, Rockwood.
