  BERKEBILE
  
  Willard V. Berkebile, 58, Stoystown, died Aug. 13 at Somerset Community
  Hospital.  He was born May 20, 1916 in Somerset County the son of the late
  John A. and Freda Ash Berkebile.  He is survived by his widow, the former
  Mary Shaffer and the following children:  Mrs. Robert (Dixie) Layton of
  Stoystown, and Bruce of Friedens, and six grandchildren.  He was a brother
  of Mrs. Robert (Ethel) Fennel, Mrs. Richard (Betty) Ellis, Mrs. Michael
  (Arlene) Tkach, Mrs. Delores Zolla, and John all of Youngstown, O. and
  Irvin of Kantner.  He was a member of the Kantner United Methodist
  Church.  Family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9
  p.m. Wednesday at the Charles R. Deaner Funeral Home Stoystown, where
  services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. J. Robert
  Peterson officiating.  Interment in the Oddfellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
