    Bert L. Berkey, 73, Central City, went to be with the Lord July 2, 2007. Born Jan. 10,
  1934, the son of Norbert and Julia (Oravec) Berkey. Preceded in death by parents;
  stepfather, Andy Woke; first wife, the former Ruby Knipple; and brother, Carl. Survived
  by wife, the former Patricia Paul Snyder; children, Dale, married to the former Leah
  Rayman; Cheryl, wife of Tom Bottoroff; Diana, wife of Roy Kline; David, married to the
  former Sherry Burinda; Richard; Rodger, married to the former Lynette Grimm; Dawn and
  fiancˇ, John Blend; stepchildren, Evelyn and fiancˇ, Tim Grace; Gail, wife of Doug
  Fisher; Edward, married to the former Amanda Shippey; and Paul married to the former
  Becky Laney; grandchildren, Dale, Allen, John, Punky, Roy, Ryan, Kayla, Brett, Brittany,
  Brandon, Winnie, Kayla, Shayna, Jesse, Elana, Shelby, Lily, Daniel, Sean, Haley, Robert
  and Shae. Also survived by brother, Ronald, Massachusetts. Bert was a heavy equipment
  operator retiring from PBS Coal. Friends will be received 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the
  Mulcahy Funeral Home, and from 9 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. Friday at the Berkey
  Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Roger Thomas officiating. Interment McGregor Cemetery.
