  BETTY JEAN BERKEY
  
  Betty Jean Berkey, 83, of Magnolia Drive, Highlands, N.C., passed away Jan. 14, 
  2004, at a Highlands-Cashiers Hospital. Born in Somerset, the daughter of the 
  late Irwin J. and Edna (Pruner) Crissey.  She was married to Clammer B. Berkey, 
  Jr., who passed away in 1994.  She is survived by nieces and nephews: Nikki E.  
  and George Potter, Gerry and Gloria Kimmel, Kathy K. and Joseph Stubenhofer, 
  Kerry E. and Pete Weber, Wendy K. and Jeff Saylor and Chris Kimmel. She was a 
  homemaker and was of the Lutheran faith.  No service planned.  Remains will be 
  handled by Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset.  Memorials may be made in Mrs.  
  Berkey's name to Highlands-Cashier Hospital, 1700 Hospital Road, Highlands, N.C.  
  28742.  Bryant Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
