  BERKEY
  
  Donald A. Berkey, 49, of Stoystown RD 1, died Nov. 6, 1977 at home.  Born
  March 25, 1928 in Jenner Township.  He was the son of Ernest and Jennie
  (Glessner) Berkey.  He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived
  by his brother, Robert P., married to the former Louise Spiker, and two
  nephews, Robert R. and David L. Berkey, all of Boswell RD 1.  He was a
  member of Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church in Jennerstown, the Jerome
  American Legion Post No. 802, and was an Army veteran of World War II. 
  Friends are being received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Tuesday at the Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell,
  where service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Jesse E. Wolf
  officiating.  Interment, Jenner Township Baptist Church Cemetery.
