     Dorothy Sicheri Berkey, 89, of Burke, Va., formerly of Somerset, died May 17, 2007, in
  Virginia. Born May 11, 1918, in Garrett, she is the daughter of the late Pietro and Romana
  (Betoldi) Sicheri.  Also preceded in death by her husband, Richard
  Berkey, who died in 1983; a brother, James Sicheri; sisters, Jennie Harrison and Elsie
  Sicheri; and stepbrother, Aldo Sicheri. Survived by sons, Richard O. Berkey, married to
  the former Sharon Gorham, Burke, Va., and Robert W. Berkey, married to the former Jane
  Smith, Gettysburg; grandchildren: James, Tyson, Brian, Shannon and Nicholas and three
  great- grandchildren. Sister of Dolly Rock, Somerset, Nora Cober, Daytona Beach, Fla. and
  stepsister, Ida Olexo, Sipesville. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A member of
  the Hopewell Methodist Church, a 1938 graduate of Somerset High School and was employed
  as a teller at Somerset Trust Co. for 30 years. Friends received from 4 to 7 p.m.
  Wednesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be held
  at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Dr. Arthur Gotjen officiating. Interment in Somerset County
  Memorial Park.
