    Edward F. "Bud" Berkey Jr., 79, Rockwood, passed on Aug. 6, 2007, at Somerset Hospital.
  Born Feb. 15, 1928, in Milford Township, he is the son of the late Edward Sr. and Hazel
  (Pyle) Berkey. He is also preceded in death by his stepfather, James Ohler. He is
  survived by his wife, Edna (McClintock) Berkey; children, Randy Berkey and wife, Rheta,
  Somerset; Richard Berkey and companion, Deb, Rockwood; and Bonnie Augustine and husband,
  James, Markleton; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grand children from his children's
  marriages and relationships; sisters, Betty Cook and husband, Paul, Warren, Ohio; Elaine
  Stevanus, Rockwood; and Shirley Readnower, Cincinnati; and brother, Robert "Bob" Berkey,
  Rockwood. He left work at Shaffer Block Co. in Somerset after 19 years. Friends will be
  received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where a
  service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday. Mark Ongley, pastor, officiating. Interment at
  Kingwood IOOF Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Rockwood Christ United
  Methodist Church, 621 Broadway St., Rockwood, PA 15557.
