  BERKEY
  
    Elsie M. Berkey, 88, Kline's Mill Road, Boswell, died Feb. 1, 1998, at
  Conemaugh Medical Center.  Born March 18, 1909, in Johnstown, daughter of
  Michael and Catherine (Roth) Fenslau.  Preceded in death by parents,
  husband, John H., 2 brothers, 2 sisters and a great-granddaughter, Heather
  Jones.  Survived by these children, Catherine Gallagher, with whom she
  resided; Edith, married to Robert A. Seifer, Pittsburgh; John Ellis Berkey,
  married to the former Linda Knupp, Rockwood RD 2; 13 grandchildren; 24
  great-grandchildren.  Member of Messiah Lutheran Church, New Centerville. 
  Family will receive friends from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, Stoystown.  Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Messiah
  Lutheran Church, New Centerville.  No viewing at the church.  Rev. John
  Palko officiating.  Interment, church cemetery.
