    Freda V. Berkey, 85, Country Manor Living, Jerome, formerly of Boswell, died Nov. 19,
  2007, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Feb. 14, 1922, in Jenner Township, the daughter of
  Jesse and Emma J. (Spory) Berkey. Preceded in death by parents and an infant sister.
  Survived by several cousins and other relatives. Had been a member of the former St.
  James Lutheran Church, Jenner Township. Current member of Laurel Trinity Evangelical
  Lutheran Church, Jennerstown and "Unite Here," formerly the ILGWU. Retired employee,
  since 1984, of the former Dorfman and Hoffman Garment Factory with 34 years service.
  Viewing from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home &
  Cremation Services, Allegheny St., Boswell. The Rev. Jacquelyn S. Ahern officiating.
  Interment, St. James Cemetery.
