  BERKEY
  
    Gertrude B. Berkey, 93, of Rockwood, died April 21, 1990, in Berlin. 
  Born Feb. 12, 1897, in Forty-Fort, Pa., a daughter of the late James and
  Alice (Scott) Allen.  She is survived by one son, Newell Berkey of
  Rochester, N.Y.; two sisters, Alice Ashman of Rockwood and Mrs. Walter
  (Dorothy) Gardner, also of Rockwood; two granddaughters and one
  great-grandson and one great-granddaughter.  Preceded in death by her
  parents; husband, Rev. Hillis G. Berkey, in January 1968, and also four
  brothers.  A life-long member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Rockwood, and
  also of the Women's Class LCW, and the Rockwood Senior Citizens.  Friends
  will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the William J. Wood
  Funeral Home, Rockwood, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m.
  Tuesday, Rev. Susan Winger officiating.  Interment, Rockwood I.O.O.F.
  Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of the William J. Wood
  Funeral Home, Rockwood, with Francis Brady Supervising.
