  BERKEY
  
  Jackson "Jack" Berkey, 47, East Church Street, Somerset, died Jan. 31,
  1984, in his residence.  Born Nov. 5, 1936, in Somerset county, a son of
  Evelyn (Stern) Berkey and the late Gilbert "Red" Berkey.  He is survived by
  his mother, Somerset RD 6; his wife, Janet (Sechler) Berkey; and these
  children:  Janice, Lori and Scott, all at home; also, one grandson,
  Jason.  A brother of:  Mrs. Lois (Richard E.) Swank, Emma Jean Barron and
  Jerry S., all of Somerset RD 6; Robert W., Arvada, Colo.; and Sherman,
  Somerset.  He was a member of New Centerville Church of God and employed by
  Stewart-Amos Equipment Company in the Industrial Park.  Funeral arrangements
  in charge of Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home are incomplete.
