Berkey, 22, Berlin, died of injuries received in an accident Nov. 24, 1984, at the Somerset Community Hospital. Born Aug. 6, 1962, in Meyersdale, son of the late Jay Berkey, who passed away in 1972. Survived by his mother and stepfather: Terry and Virginia (Sarver) Berkey Hillegass, Fairhope RD 1; also his wife, the former Roxane Emerick; and one son, Michael; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Sarver, Bedford; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Marian Berkey, Berlin; one brother, Clark, Port Charlotte, Fla.; two sisters: Mrs. Keith (Jodi) Hoover, Colorado Springs, Colo.; and Carla Berkey, Fairhope RD 1; a half-brother, William Berkey, Berlin; two stepsisters: Mrs. William (Lesa) Dodson, Fairhope; Mrs. Kim (Jayne) Winck, Somerset. Member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. Served in the U.S. Air Force. Served in the U.S. Air Force for 16 months. Employed by Hidden Valley. Friends were received Sunday and will be received Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m., with the Rev.
