  JEAN B. BERKEY
  
    Jean B. Berkey, 61, 501 Amanda St., Windber, died April 10, 1989, at home.
    She was born April 29, 1927, on Hooversville RD, daughter of Kenneth Earl
  and Zelma Irene (Shoemaker) Brubaker.
    She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Wresley Hobert; and son,
  Jon; also an infant son. 
    She is survived by these children:  Cynthia, wife of James Davis, Imler;
  Greg, married to former Dolores Kokoszka, Salix; Christine, wife of Chester
  Badowski, Farmington, N.M.; and Linda, wife of Edward Washko, Sharpsburg,
  Md.; also grandchildren:  Philip, Jennifer and Rachel Davis:  Russell
  Badowski; Jessie Marie Berkey; and Jesica Lynn Washko.
    She was a sister of Ray "Sonny," married to former Nelda M. Rugg,
  Hooversville RD; James Earl, married to former Gloria Lampert, West Chest,
  N.Y.; and Doris LaRue Gindlesperger, Meyersdale.
    She was a member of Ridge Church of the Brethren.  Graduate of Conemaugh
  Valley Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1947.
    Friends were received at Meek Funeral Home Inc., Windber.  Service at 10
  a.m. Thursday at Ridge Church of the Brethren, the Rev. Brian Simmons. 
  Interment, Berkey Cemetery.
