  JOHN H. BERKEY
  
    John H. Berkey, 73 of Rockwood RD 2, died March 19, 1976 in Somerset
  Community Hospital.
    He was born July 26, 1902, in Middlecreek Township, a son of Charles and
  Sadie (Heckler) Berkey.
    He is survived by his wife, Elsie (Fenslau) Berkey of Rockwood RD 2; one
  son, Ellis of Rockwood RD 2, two daughters:  Mrs. Catherine Miller of
  Derby, N.Y. and Mrs. Edith Siefert of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Charles of
  Rockwood and Lloyd of Rockwood RD 1; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Miller of
  Rockwood and Mrs. Katherine McVicker, also of Rockwood; 13 grandchildren
  and four Great grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.  He was a member
  of the Messiah Lutheran Church in New Centerville.
    A funeral service was held March 22 at the Messiah Lutheran Church with
  the Rev. Gregory R. Pile officiating. 
    Interment was in the church cemetery.
