    Karen M. Berkey, 62, Ashtabula, Ohio, formerly of Rockwood, passed on May
  1, 2006, at Heather Hill Hospital in Chardon, Ohio. Born Nov. 27, 1943, in
  McKeesport, she is the daughter of the late William Campbell Sr. and Dora
  (Davis) Campbell. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother,
  Howard Campbell. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Newell Berkey;
  daughters, Tracy Compher, Bethesda, Ohio; and Rene Franzosa of Milford,
  Mass.; grandchildren, Kevin Compher and fiancˇe Jessica, Kristin Compher,
  Michael Franzosa Jr. and Ryan Franzosa; sister, Gail Keyser of Canandaigua,
  N.Y.; and brothers, William Campbell Jr., Salix; Ronald Campbell, Fort
  Myers, Fla.; and Paul Campbell, Rittman, Ohio. She enjoyed spending time 
  with her family and grand-children. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and
  7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where a service will
  be held 11 a.m. Thursday. Ardelle Mason, pastor, o ff i c i a t i n g . 
  Interment at Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
