    Kerry L. "Jake" Berkey, 48, Windber, passed away Nov. 21, 2006, at home.
  Born Feb. 27, 1958, in Johnstown, son of Russell and Lois (Burkett) Berkey.
  Preceded in death by grandparents and father-in-law, John Bazzoli. Survived 
  by parents, Pavia; wife of 27 years, Marie C. (Bazzoli) Berkey; and
  daughters, Danielle Berkey, Canonsburg, and Amy Berkey, at home. Also
  survived by sisters, Marla, wife of Jim Davis, Imler; twin sister, Wendy,
  wife of Bobby Townsend, Sidman; and Debbie, wife of Kelvin Martin, Alum
  Bank; mother-in-law, Anne Bazzoli, Windber; sister-in-law, Sylvia, wife of
  John Tokar, Maryland; and numerous nieces and nephews. A 1976 graduate of 
  Forest Hills High School. Employee of Weaver Remodeling, Windber. Kerry was
  an avid hunter who enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to read and watch
  westerns, but mostly he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
  Friends received from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at the William Kisiel Funeral
  Home, Windber, where a funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday. Betsy
  Statler presiding. Entombment Richland Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, 
  contributions may be made to the Melanoma Foundation, in Kerry's memory.
