Clayton Berkey, 84, of West Main Street, Somerset, died June 3, 1975, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born Dec. 31, 1890 in Lincoln Township, a son of the late Levi and Mary Ankeny Berkey. Preceded in death by his wife, the former Edna Manges, a grandson, three brothers and two sisters. Survived by these children: Miss Ada E. Berkey of Kalamazoo, Mich.; Donald C. of Marblehead, Mass.; Earl K. of Somerset RD 3; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ; Somerset Rotary Club; Somerset I.O.O.F. Lodge; and the S.A.R. He was owner and operator of the H. W. Walker Co. from 1925 to 1968. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Richard Shellenberger officiating.
