  HOWARD A. BERKLEY
  
    Howard A. Berkley, 77, Meyersdale RD 2, died April 8 in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.
    Born Oct. 7, 1889 on Meyersdale RD 2, he was a son of the late Harvey and
  Margaret (Broose) Berkley.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, the
  former Kate Glessner.
    Surviving are his widow, the former Hazel Brant; and three children: 
  Robert C., Harrisburg; Mrs. William P. Deist, Bethel Park; and Sarah,
  Stoughton, Mass; also a grandchild.
    Funeral service was held on Tuesday afternoon at Price Funeral Home, with
  Rev. Charles Staub officiating.  Interment was made in Fritz Church
  cemetery, Meyersdale RD 2.
