She had been a patient in the hospital just one day. Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon, April 18th, in the Johnson Funeral Home, Berlin, by Rev. Elwood Stahl, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Interment in Union Cemetery, Meyersdale. Mrs. Berkley was a daughter of Silas and Eliza Walker of Summit Township and was born Aug. 5, 1865. Her husband, Emmanuel Berkley of Meyersdale, died 10 years ago. She is survived by a brother, Robert B. Walker, of Hollywood Inn. Mrs. Berkley was aged 77 years, 8 months and 11 days at the time of her death. After her husband's death she continued to live in Meyersdale for several years, then sold her home here and went to live with her brother, R. B. Walker, and wife at Hollywood Inn, and until her fatal illness divided her time about equally living with her brother and wife at Hollywood, and her nephew, Silas E. Walker, in Pittsburgh.
