Berry, 97, of Manns Choice RD 1, died Feb. 11, 1985 in Rainsburg Home for the Elderly. Born Feb. 18, 1887, in Lavansville, Somerset County, daughter of the late George and Addie (Kooser) Countryman. Preceded in death by husband, Charles C. Berry Jr.; half-brother, Frank Baker. Survived by son, Charles C. III, married to the former Rose Nonn, Manns Choice RD 1; two grandchildren: Charles C. IV of Schellsburg RD and Mrs. Catherine Ruby of Hampstead Md.; three great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren and seven step-great-great- grandchildren. Member of the first graduating class of Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital's School of Nursing in 1909; and was last surviving member of the class. Member of the United Church of Schellsburg. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburtg, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Paul Miller officiating.
