    Rudolph (Rudy) J. Berti, 90, Rockwood, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 21, 2007, at
  home. Born May 20, 1917, Griffey (Acosta). Preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and
  Edvige Berti; and sister, Inez (Berti) Zanoni. He is survived by his loving wife,
  Catherine (Shaffer) Berti, to whom he was married for 54 years; three sons, Thomas Berti,
  married to Lisa (Patrick) Berti; Roger Berti; and Glenn Berti, married to Bridget
  (Lichtenfels) Berti; one granddaughter, Genna (Berti) Smith, married to Matthew Smith;
  one grandson, Reece Patrick; one great-grandchild, Xander Salyer; and brother,  David
  Berti and wife, Jennette.  Attended the Acosta School. Former employee of Saylor Motor
  Co. Retired as a dairy farmer in Rockwood. A member of the Mount Zion United Methodist
  Church, Markleton. Friends received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, and from 10
  am. until time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. The Rev.
  Jim Monticue and Paul Tobias, pastor, officiating. Interment Messiah Lutheran Church
  Cemetery, New Centerville
