  BETHEL
  
    Grace Elizabeth Bethel, 76, of Friedens, formerly of Brotherton, died
  Dec. 15, 1997, at Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate.  Born Sept. 14, 1921, in
  Stonycreek Township, daughter of Bruce and Nellie (Zerfoss) Stutzman. 
  Preceded in death by parents; brothers: Bruce Milton and Vernon Lee
  Stutzman and sisters, Esther Shank and Shirley Heist.  Survived by
  daughters:  Carole Kelley of Somerset and Linda, married to John B. Walker
  of Friedens; grandchildren:  Michele Barlow, Lisa Kelley, Wendy Lee Hayman,
  Pamela Jane Oaks, John B. Walker Jr., and Mary Ann Walker; also eight
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of Wayne Stutzman and Hazel Swank, both of
  Somerset.  Formerly employed by Somerset State Hospital, Ferner Hotel,
  White Star Restaurant, Holiday Inn and the Polly Jane Shop. Member of
  Somerset Church of the Brethren.  Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m.
  Tuesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where
  service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Rev. Roger L. Forry officiating. 
  Interment, Pike Cemetery, Brotherton. Memorial contributions may be given
  to Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, Somerset PA 15501.
