  BETTS
  
    Wade A. Betts, 66, 205 Charles St., Hooversville, died June 16, 1977, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Nov. 19, 1910, in Shade Township, son of
  Charles I. and Grace (Metz) Betts.  Preceded in death by parents; infant
  daughter; four sisters and one brother.  Survived by widow, former Mary H.
  Labencki, married April 6, 1937; and these children:  Garry, married to
  former Rose Pysnik, Fairfax, Va.; Carol, wife of Paul Zborovancik, and
  Bryan, married to former Mary Swintosky, both of Hooversville; and Jan,
  married to former Shelley Moodel, North Carolina; also 11 grandchildren. 
  Brother of Lavina, wife of Pat O'Leary, and Margaret, wife of Robert O.
  McGregror, both of Johnstown; Thelma, wife of Ray Bossi, Windber; and
  Wanda, wife of Jack Gillespie, California.  Member of Hooversville Fire
  Company and Hooversville Sportsmen.  Was deacon at Seventh Day Adventist
  Church and Sabbath Day school teacher.  Friends received after 3 p.m.
  Saturday and from 10 a.m. to noon and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at
  Thomas P. Read Funeral Home, Hooversville, where service will be held at 10
  a.m. Monday, the Rev. Michael Miller, pastor of Seventh Day Adventist
  Church, Johnstown.  Interment, Otterbein Cemetery.
