  ALBERT BEVANS
  
    Albert Bevans, 75, Rockwood RD 2, died July 28, 1983, in Conemaugh
  Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.
    He was born April 10, 1908, in West Virginia, son of the late David and
  Easter (Kennedy) Bevans.
    He was a retired coal miner of J & L Steel Corp.; member of UMW Local
  762, and the Calvary United Methodist Church, Somerset; veteran of World
  War II-U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
    He is survived by one stepson, Charles Baker, East McKeesport; two
  stepdaughters, Dorothy Gwyn, Brownsville and Florence Ondrejko, Nemacolin;
  and one grandson, Les Gwyn, with whom he resided.  Also survived by 11
  step-grandchildren; 16 step-great-grandchildren; two brothers: Thomas
  Bevans, Vestaburg; and William Bevans, Webster, Fla.; and two sisters,
  Marjorie Tedrow, Mather; and Loraine Fisher, Baltimore, Md.
    He was preceded in death by wife, Wilda M. Beanner, March 24, 1983; one
  stepson, Donald Baker; two sisters: Flora and Genevieve Bevans; and two
  brothers: Edward and Woodrow Wilson Bevans.
    Friends were received at the Greenlee Funeral Home, Fredericktown; where
  services were held with the Rev. Harry C. Sherry officiating.  Interment,
  LaFayette Memorial Park.
