WILLIAM BEYNON

  Willian Beynon died about 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 22, in the Hazel McGilvery 
Hospital, Meyersdale, after an illness of nine days.  His death was due to 
coronary thrombosis.  Mr. Beynon was born in Elizabeth, Pa., August 22, 1872, 
and was 75 years, 7 months and 2 days old at his death.  His wife died in 1939.  
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Showalter, Salisbury; a son, John 
Beynon of Scranton, Pa.; one brother, John Beynon of West Salisbury; 22 
grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  A son was killed in action in World 
War II.  Mr. Beynon had always been a member of the Methodist Church.
  Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, in the Stanley Thomas 
funeral parlors, with Rev. Floyd Gotjen, Methodist pastor, officiating.  
Interment will be made in the Salisbury I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
