Bice, 79, of Meyersdale RD 3, died Jan. 22, 1988 in Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 14, 1908 in Somerset a son of the late Nicholas T. and Anne (Brown-Fleegle) Bice. Survived by his widow, the former Ruth Baer; and two nieces and two nephews. He retired in 1972 from the Consolidated Food Co. of Wadsworth, Ohio. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Salisbury, where he served on the church council. He was a veteran of World War II where he served with Co. C, 110th Infantry Division, National Guard; he was a member of Meyersdale DAV Post 127; Blue Lodge 236 of Gadsden, Ala. He belonged to the Scottish Rite Consistory, Cumberland, Md. Friends will be received at the Leckemby Funeral Home, Sunday 2-4, 7-9 p.m. where the service will be Monday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. David Fetter. Interment, Union Cemetery.
