Bieniasz, 77, of 4th Street, Jerome, died Dec. 20, 1997, at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born April 25, 1920, in Ralphton. Son of George and Anna (Pluta) Bieniasz. Preceded in death by parents; infant brother, Theodore; and brother, Lewis. Survived by wife, the former Helen Konieczny; daughter, Patricia, wife of Charles Taylor, Chicago; granddaughters, Cresta, wife of Fred Hancock, Muncie, Ind., and Autumn Barefoot, Grand Rapids, Mich.; grandsons: Heath and Ryan Taylor, Springboro, Ohio. And great-granddaughter, Kelsey Hancock. Member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Davidsville; Tire Hill Local 998 UMWA; Jerome American Legion Post 802, and Somerset Hospital Cardiac Care Club. Retired employee of former Island Creek Coal Co., Tire Hill. Army veteran of World War II. Observed 51st wedding anniversary Sept. 7, 1997. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where wake service will be held Monday afternoon. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anne's Church, Rev. Father Michael Lewandowski, O.F.M. Conv. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Jerome.
