    Kenneth B. Bier, 80, Somerset RD 7, died Feb. 12, 1990 at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born May 13, 1909, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Edwin and Cora
  (Feaster) Bier.  Survived by wife of 59 years, the former Miriam Evans; son,
  Arthur K., married to the former Jean Gerhold, Scenery Hill, Pa.;
  grandchildren, Brice K., Leslie Jean Oelke and Taryn L.;
  great-granddaughter, Heather Bier.  Retired from Bethlehem Steel,
  Johnstown. Member of Kantner United Methodist Church.  No viewing at
  request of deceased.  Funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, Stoystown, Rev. J. Wesley Spahn.  Memorials may be given to the
  Arthritis Foundation, 332 Fifth Ave., Warner Centre, Pittsburgh, Pa., 15222.
