    Miriam K. "Mim" Bigan, 75, Windber, died May 30, 1994 at home.  Born Jan.
  12, 1919 in Manns Choice.  Daughter of the late Albert and Christina
  (Grosshans) Kauffman.  Preceded in death by husband, Michael, who died June
  2, 1988; son, Aaron; sisters, Mabel, Sarah and Esther and brothers, William
  and George.  Survived by these nieces and nephews: Judy Chontos, Miami
  Lakes, Fla.; Sue Kopel, Seven Lakes, N.C.; Linda Barnes, Ossining, N.Y.;
  Judy Marraccini, Woodstown, N.J.; Carol Kessel, McKees Rocks; Ruth
  Estabrook, Phoenix, Ariz.; William Hudson, Dover, Del.; and Michael
  Kauffman, Atlanta, Ga.  Also survived by sisters-in-law, Lillian Quigg,
  Virginia Beach, Va.; Ann Wargo, Mechanicsburg and Bee Kauffman, Northern
  Ireland.  Member of Grace United Church of Christ, Manns Choice and Chapter
  495, Order of Eastern Star.  Retired with her husband from a local coal
  mining business. Private burial at Oakland Cemetery, Indiana, at the
  family's convenience.  In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to the
  Regional Hospice at Windber.  Arrangements by Meek Funeral Home, Inc.,
