Billmeyer, 53, of Grantsville RD 2, died June 8, 1980 in Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, after a lengthy illness. He was the son of the late Ray Billmeyer and Bessie (Yaste) Billmeyer, and was born at Jennings. He was owner and operator of a school bus and was a mechanic for the Casselman Motor Company. He was a member of the Garrett County School Bus Drivers Association and the Zion Lutheran Church, Jennings. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Louise (Miller) Billmeyer; one son, Donald Billmeyer, Grantsville, Md.; one brother, Elmer Billmeyer, Baltimore, Md.; three sisters: Miss Alverta Billmeyer, Mount Rainier; Mrs. Evelyn Lamm, Pittsburgh, Mrs. Helen Wiley, Grantsville, Md.; and two grandchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville. Services were conducted in the funeral home Wednesday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. James Mitchell, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church.
