"Bob" Bills, 82, Colorado Springs, Colo., formerly of Acosta and Central City, died Jan. 7, 1995 at a local care center. Born Feb. 27, 1912 in Holt Summit, Mo., to Robert B. and Meda B. (Eubanks) Bills. Preceded in death by a brother, Rufus R., and a sister, Alias Hyatt. Survived by his wife, Lillian E. Lapina and four sons: Ronald F., Sacramento, Calif.; Robert P. of Colorado Springs; James B. of Thornton, Calif.; and Theodore C., Los Angeles; three daughters: Bonita B. Lawrence of Martinez, Calif.; Theresa L. Riggs of Snowflake, Ariz.; and Patricia J. Snyder of Waddell, Ariz.; a sister, Beulah Bryant of Missouri; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was a 32nd-degree Mason. Mr. Bills was formerly a supervisor for the Denise Coal Co. in the 1940s and resided in Acosta and Central City. Daily American, January 31, 1995 [B1425]
