Mrs. Binford was the oldest daughter of Rev. Dr. and Mrs. A. E. Truxal, of Somerset. She was born in Somerset and spent most of her girlhood in Meyersdale while her father was pastor of Amity Reformed Church. She was graduated from the Meyersdale High School and Hood College and taught music for several years before her marriage. Following the death of her husband 16 years ago, Mrs. Binford engaged in business for herself and had been Pennsylvania representative of a Louisville, Ky., business concern for more than 15 years. Surviving are her parents, a son, William, Jr., a student at the Massanutten, Va., Military School, and these brothers and sisters; Miss Rebekah Truxal, a teacher in the Somerset High School; Capt. William Curtis Truxal, of Wayne, Pa., and Mrs. John Ritchie, of Pittsburgh. A brother, Albert Truxal, preceded her to the grave. Her body was received Tuesday afternoon at her late home in Somerset, where funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon by Rev. Dr. George L. Roth, pastor of St. Paul's Reformed Church, followed by interment in Union Cemetery Somerset. Meyersdale Republican, February 19, 1931
