Bing, 85, of O'Hara Township, died Tuesday, March 15, 1994 in St. Margaret Memorial Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born Oct. 15, 1908 in O'Hara Township, daughter of the late Thomas and Maude (Lear) Powers. She was a member of the Fox Chapel Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star of Forest Hills. Survived by three sons: Ira P. Bing of Somerset; Thomas E. Bing of Lower Burrell and Robert John Bing of Cannonsburg; one daughter, Ellen Greninger of Ottawa, Kan.; a brother, Earl Powers of O'Hara Township; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Sister of Earl Powers of O'Hara Township. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira E. Bing; two sisters, Mabel Whitney and Helen Bailey. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday in the Weddell-Ajak Funeral Home, 100 Center Ave., Aspinwall, where a service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. Rex A. Wasser officiating. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Township. Daily American, March 16, 1994 [B1430]
