Minetta (Hoover) Bingner, 74, died at her home in Berlin, Friday, September 21, after a long illness. She was a daughter of the late Charles and Harriet Hoover and was born in Illinois, coming to Pennsylvania about 60 years ago. In young womanhood she married George H. Bingner and lived in Berlin most of her married life. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Glenn, at home; Cynthia, Mrs. John Weising, Pittsburgh; Ward, Bedford, and Merle, Akron, Ohio, also these grandchildren: Eugene, with the A.A.F. at Dayton, O., and Mrs. Russell Saylor, Berlin; one sister, Mrs. Norman Brant, Berlin, and one brother, Ellis Hoover, St. Petersburg, Fla. She was a member of the Berlin Lutheran Church. Funeral services were held at the Johnson Funeral Home, on Monday, at 2:30 p.m. Her pastor, Rev. Robert S. Nagle, officiated. Interment in I.O.O.F.
