Born May 29, 1923, in Acosta, the Daughter of George A. and Mihelena (Bobish) Gielnicky. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 65 years, Nicholas A., on March 6, 2007; sisters, Mary Gielnicky, Josephine Martire and her husband, Ed Martire; and Frances Arena and her husband, Joseph Arena; and brother Joseph Gielnicky. Survived by daughter, Victoria A., married to Paul Butchko, Greensburg; three grandchildren, Michelene, married to Brian Sheppard, Bridgeport, W.Va.; Maryann Bearley, Ashville, N.C.; and George Butchko, Seattle; and five great-grandchildren, Hunter and Parker Sheppard and Gunnar, Ana Noel and Griffin Bearley. Also survived by sister-in-law, Ann Gielnicky, Cleveland; and many other relatives and friends. A 1941 graduate of Somerset High School. Member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset; Boswell Lodge 1780, Sons of Italy; Goldenaires Senior Citizens; and "Unite Here" formerly the ILGWU. Retired seamstress for former Dorfman and Hoffman Garment Factory. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17 at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. SOI memorial service also will be held Friday afternoon. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18 at St. Peter's Church. The Rev. Father Daniel O'Neill and The Rev. Monsignor Samuel J.
