  Mrs. Susan Birch, 53, Hooversville, RD 1, Maple Park, died Dec. 19, 1980,
  in Mercy Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Oct. 21, 1927, in Pittsburgh, daughter
  of Andrew and Anna (Chardas) Kohan Sr.  Preceded in death by parents; two
  infant sons; and sister, Ann.  Survived by husband, Maurice, children: 
  Richard Lee and Karen Lee, both at home; Mrs. Joseph (Sharon) Collins and
  Diane, both of Cairnbrook; four grandchildren; and eight foster
  grandchildren.  Sister of Richard and Andrew Jr., both of Hooversville. 
  Also survived by step-mother, Barbara Kohan, Pittsburgh; step-sisters: 
  Mrs. William (Rose) Wilson, Pittsburgh; Mrs. Roger (Patricia) Cassidy,
  Stoystown RD 2; Mrs. Andrea Hambley, Hooversville; step brother, Michael,
  Stoystown RD 2.  Member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Hooversville. 
  Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday
  in Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Mass of the Resurrection will be
  celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in Holy Family Church, Hooversville, by the
  Rev. S.J. Zubricki.  Interment, Hooversville Cemetery.  If friends wish,
  instead of flowers, contributions may be made to National Kidney Foundation.
