ANDREW L. BIRD

  Andrew L. Bird, 80, of Confluence, died in the Price Hospital Tuesday.  He had 
been ill for some time and was admitted to the hospital Sunday.
  He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Basil Bird and was one of 11 children.  
He was born in Addison Township and lived there and in Confluence all of his 
life.  He was a member of the Methodist Church and of the Men's Bible Class.
  His wife, Mrs. Mary Show Bird, died six years ago.  A daughter, Mrs. June 
Peterson of Scottdale and four grandchildren survive.
  Funeral services were held today at 2:30 at the home with the Rev. Alden J. 
Allen, D.D. officiating.  Burial under the direction of Samuel Black in the 
Addison cemetery.
