    Bessie E. Bird, 104, Beaver, formerly of Fort Hill, died Dec. 12, 2007, in Beaver. Born
  Dec. 19, 1902, in Fort Hill, a daughter of Elmer and Janie (Wiltrout) Tressler. Preceded
  in death by parents; husband, Glenn Bird; son, Harold Bird; brothers, Harvey and Clark
  Tressler; and sisters, Daisy Pearl Roberts, Edith Rose, Hazel Tissue and Florence Zac.
  Survived by son, Raymond Miller, Beaver Falls; brother, Calvin Tressler and sister,
  Gladys Jenkins, both of Confluence; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be
  received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday the hour of service at
  Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence. The Rev. Dean Hay Jr. officiating. Interment St. Paul's
  Cemetery.
