  LAURA E. BIRD
  
    Laura A. Bird, 33, of Berlin Rd 3, died Oct. 29, 1980, at home.
    She was born Aug. 30, 1947, in Meyersdale, daughter of Earl M. and Anna
  (Bird) Walker of Meyersdale.  She is survived by her parents; her husband,
  Paul L. Bird Jr.; and a sister, Mrs. David R. (Mary Ann) Henderson, of
  Coraopolis.
    She was a 1969 graduate of Ashland College, Ashland, Ohio, and was a
  substitute teacher in Berlin and Meyersdale.  She was a member of Main
  Street Brethren Church, Meyersdale; also Women's Missionary Society and
  Christian Pioneer Sunday School Class, both of Berlin Brethren Church. 
  Member of Pius Spring Women's Club, Berlin, and Forbes Road Chapter D.A.R.
  of Somerset.  Friends were received at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home,
  Berlin, where services were held with the Rev. Robert M. Payne and the Rev.
  Ralph E. Mills of officiating.  Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
    Memorials in her memory the American Diabetes Association, care of Lee
  Hospital, 320 Main St., Johnstown, 15601, or Main Street Brethren Church,
