  LLOYD B. BIRD
  
    Lloyd B. Bird, 88, of Berlin RD 2, died unexpectedly July 29, 1975.  Born
  Aug. 5, 1886, in Fort Hill, he was a son of W. A. And Elizabeth (Smith)
  Bird.  He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Ethel Leslie, in
  1964; a son, Paul, in 1974; and seven brothers and sisters.
    Surviving are two grandchildren, Paul Bird Jr., Berlin; and Janet E.
  young, Linwood, Md.
    Mr. Bird was an active member and deacon of Berlin Brethren Church; and a
  50-year member of Lodge 461, IOOF.
    Funeral service was conducted Friday afternoon in Johnson and Son Funeral
  Home, Berlin, with Rev. Ralph E. Mills officiating.  Interment in Berlin
  IOOF Cemetery.
