  Sarah E. Bird, 83, Somerset, died Dec. 11, 1983, in Somerset Community
  Hospital.  Born June 21, 1900, in Somerset, daughter of the late Frank and
  Hattie (Koontz) Bird.  Survived by one son, Frederick C., Somerset; three
  grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  She was a member of First
  United Methodist Church, Somerset.  Friends received after 7 p.m. today,
  Monday, in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be
  conducted Tuesday 1:30 p.m., the Rev. Percy Ellenberger.  Interment,
  Husband Cemetery.
