Emerson Ave., Baltimore, Md., by the pastor of a Baltimore Methodist Church, for William E. Bisbing, age 42. He was born April 1, 1900, in Meyersdale. He is the eldest son of Mrs. Susan Bisbing of 200 Grant Street. Mr. Bisbing spent most of his life in Meyersdale until about 8 years ago when he located in Baltimore where he was employed at State Hospital. In addition to his mother who resides here, he is survived by two sons, William Jr. and Elmer R., both of Meyersdale; one brother, Raymond (Patsy) Bisbing of Gettysburg, and one sister, Frieda, Mrs. Elmer Smith, Meyersdale. One son, James Edward, his father, Edward Bisbing, and three sisters, Mrs. James Walker, Mrs. Frank Belcher and Della Florence Bisbing, preceded him in death. Meyersdale Republican, July 23, 1942 ------ WILLIAM E. BISBING Owing to some inaccuracies, due to insufficient information, in the report of the death of William E. Bisbing in last week's issue of The Republican, the following revised obituary is published, by request of the bereaved relatives: William E. Bisbing, born in Meyersdale, April 1, 1900, died at his home, 1849 West Mulberry St., Baltimore, Md., July 18, 1942, aged 42 years, 3 months and 17 days. He had been bedfast for seven months suffering from a rare disease of the liver. He had resided in Baltimore eight years, and at the time of his death was employed by the Sherwood Oil Co. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m., Monday, July 20, by Rev. B. V. Blubaugh, pastor of the United Brethren Church, Monroe Street, Baltimore, after which the body was taken to Loudon Park where a brief committal service was held before cremation of his remains. The pallbearers were members of the Sherwood Oil Co. Floral tributes were numerous and beautiful. Mr. Bisbing is survived by his wife, Anna (DeHoff) Bisbing; three sons by a former marriage, William R. and Elmer R. of Meyersdale, and Freddie Bisbing, of Hyndman; his mother, Mrs. Susan Bisbing, Meyersdale; a brother, Raymond Bisbing, Gettysburg, and a sister, Frieda Bisbing, Meyersdale. One grandchild, Mardell Elizabeth Bisbing, one son, James, his father and three sisters preceded him in death. Meyersdale Republican, July 30, 1942
