Bisel, 61, died at his home in West Salisbury on Thursday, October 28. He was ill for but two days and a cerebral hemorrhage was the cause of his death. He has lived in the vicinity of Salisbury for a number of years and has been usually employed as a logger. He was born in Fayette County, on July 12, 1887, a son of Louise (Rohlf) and Jeremiah Bisel. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Louise Rohlk, who lives at Morgantown, W.Va.; by one daughter, Mrs. Andell Hershberger, Baltimore, Md.; two sons, Odbert Bisel, Listonburg, and Shelby Bisel of New York state; two brothers, Dalton Bisel, Addison, and Charles Bisel, Morgantown, W.Va.; and one sister, Mrs. Anna Largent, Morgantown, W.Va. Funeral services were conducted in the Thomas Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 30, with the Rev. Ira S. Monn, pastor of St. John's Reformed Church officiating. Interment in the Addison Cemetery, Addison, in charge of Mortician Stanley M. Thomas. Meyersdale Republican, November 4, 1948
