  CHARLES P. BITNER
  
    Charles P. Bitner, 74, Rockwood, died May 24, 1983, in Somerset
  Community Hospital.
    He was born May 2, 1909 in Rockwood, a son of the late Aaron and
  Matilda Bitner.
    He is survived by the following sisters and brother:  Mrs. Arthur
  (Ida) Nicholas of Salem, Ohio; Mrs. Blanche Hersh of Rockwood; and
  Robert C. Bitner of Jeannette.
    Friends were received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home,
  Rockwood, where funeral services were conducted with the Rev. James
  Roth officiating.  Interment, New Centerville Cemetery.
