CATHERINE FRANCES BITTINGER

  Mrs. Catherine Frances Bittinger, aged 88 years, widow of the late Jonas 
Bittinger, died at her home at Bittinger Saturday, March 22, of infirmities of 
age.  Funeral services were held at the Bittinger Lutheran Church, Tuesday 
morning at 11:00 o'clock.  Rev. C. L. Runge, the pastor, officiated.  Interment 
in the Church cemetery.
  Mrs. Bittinger was the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Stark) and George 
Ruckler, and was born at Bittinger, Dec. 5, 1859.  Surviving are two sons, L. M. 
Bittinger and Asa L. Bittinger, of Bittinger, and one daughter, Mrs. Cora 
Sechler of St. Paul, seven great-grandchildren.
