  BITTINGER
  
    Clarence McKinley Bittinger, 77, of Salisbury, died Sept. 26 at
  Meyersdale Medical Center.  Born Oct. 20, 1919 in Bittinger, Md., son
  of the late Daniel and Minnie (Beeman) Bittinger.  Also preceded in
  death by a daughter, Nancy Lee Bittinger and son-in-law, Alvie R.
  Rugg.  Survived by his wife, Josephine (Butler) Bittinger; two sons,
  Charles Raymond Bittinger, Salisbury; Freddy Alvin Bittinger,
  Stoystown; two daughters: Dorothy May Rugg and Susan Fay Weimer, both
  of Salisbury; a sister, Laura Merrbach, Meyersdale and 13
  grandchildren.  He was a retired coal miner.  Friends received from
  10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the Newman Funeral Home, Inc., Salisbury,
  where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Robert
  Yoder officiating.  Interment, Bittinger Cemetery.
