    Clark L. Bittinger, 52, of Meyersdale RD 2, died September 4, 1977
  at Baker VA Center, Martinsburg, W.Va.
    A native of Millcroft, he was the son of the late James Bittinger
  and Della (Hoover) Bittinger.
    Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Annabelle (Wilt) Bittinger; six
  sons:  David Bittinger, Frostburg; Kenneth Bittinger and Ronald
  Bittinger, both at home; Tony Bittinger, Gaithersburg, Md.; Ellsworth
  Bittinger, Jerome; Kevin Bittinger, Boswell; six daughters:  Mrs.
  Linda Merrill, Salisbury; Mrs. Beverly Butler, Meyersdale; Miss
  Roxanne Bittinger and Miss Joeann Bittinger, both of Gaithersburg,
  Md.; Ellsworth Bittinger, Jerome; brothers, Everett Bittinger,
  Accident, Md.; Bernard Bittinger, Boynton; eight sisters: Mrs. Zelda
  McKenzie, Mrs. Melba McKenzie, Mrs. Elma Mason and Mrs. Sylvia Wilt,
  all of Grantsville, Md.; Mrs. Virginia Fazenbaker, Accident; Miss
  Viola Bittinger, Meyersdale; Mrs. Lilly Hoover and Mrs. Helen
  Garlitz, both of Pocahontas; and eight grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held September 7 at the Newman Funeral Home
  with Rev. John Briner officiating.  Interment, Bittinger Cemetery.
