  DANIEL M. BITTINGER
  
    Daniel M. Bittinger, 85, of Salisbury RD 1, died May 11, 1980 at
  home.
    He was born May 23, 1894 in Jennings, Md., son of the late Charles
  and Mary (Hoover) Bittinger.  He was preceded in death by wife, the
  former Mintie Beeman.  He is survived by son, Clarence M. Bittinger,
  Salisbury RD 1; daughter, Mrs. Laura Merrbach, Salisbury RD 1; nine
  grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received in the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where
  services were held with the Rev. Paul H. Yoder officiating.
  Interment, Bittinger Cemetery.
