BITTINGER Diana Marie Bittinger, 44, died Thursday Aug. 22, 1985, at Sacred Heart Hospital., Cumberland, Md. She had been in ill health since November, 1983. Born in Meyersdale, she was a daughter of Mrs. Clara (Shaffer) Boden, Ellerslie, Md., and the late Eugene Ash. She was employed as a seamstress at Londontown Manufacturing Company, Hancock, Md. She was a member of the Hancock Church of God. Surviving in addition to her mother are her stepfather, Melvin Boden, Ellerslie, Md.; her husband, Melvin W. Bittinger; one daughter, Mrs. Donna Lee Powell, Ellerslie; a son, Melvin E. Bittinger, Hagerstown, Md.; a sister, Mrs. Arlene Crawford, Shaft, Md.; and two brothers, Eugene Ash and William Brant, both of Frostburg, Md.
