  FLOSSIE V. BITTINGER
  
    Flossie V. Bittinger, 87, of Star Route, Grantsville, Md.; died Saturday,
  April 12, 1986 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    Born in Jennings, Md.; May 2, 1896, she was the daughter of the late
  Patrick Durst and Annie (Johnson) Durst.  She also was preceded in death by
  her husband, Edward F. Bittinger.
    She was a member of the Laughlin Church of the Brethren; the Women's
  Fellowship of the church, and the Jennings Senior Citizens.
    Surviving are three sons, Harry E. Bittinger, Frostburg, Md.; Elmer L.
  Bittinger and Harold J. Bittinger, both of Grantsville, Md.; two daughters,
  Mrs. Nellie Hutzel and Mrs. Freda Hutzel, both of Grantsville, Md.; 10
  grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home where services were
  conducted Monday at 2 p.m.  The Rev. James Deremer and the Rev. Paul Yoder
  officiating.  Interment, Durst Cemetery, near Grantsville, Md.
